Double Dyeing
Garment dyeing is a versatile and innovative method used in the textile industry to color garments and fabrics after they have been constructed. Unlike traditional dyeing processes that involve coloring fibers before they are woven or knitted, garment dyeing takes place after the garment is fully assembled. This approach allows for a unique set of advantages and creative possibilities.
In the garment dyeing process, finished garments are immersed in dye baths, allowing the color to penetrate the fabric. This technique offers several benefits, including the ability to achieve a wide range of hues and shades, as well as a slightly faded or vintage appearance. Garment dyeing is particularly popular for achieving washed-out, muted, or distressed color effects, which have become fashionable trends in various clothing styles.
